Notes of feedback from group talk 26/03/2021

Feedback on work:

-They look intentionally visually chaotic

-Vintage comic book style- all space is filled

- Use of line -strong brushstrokes and colour

Things to do next/improve upon:

-Do some research into more wax/resist techniques- beeswax and oils etc

-Experiment with scale-larger.

-Work on canvas, wood. I could distress the canvas/unhook from wood panels. Or work from loose pieces of canvas or fabric? Stretch them on a frame/wood afterwards rather than before.

-Mixed media? Light projection and video play. Mobile?

-Dexter Dalwood-future landscape.

-To read-:J.G Ballard. Crash, Highrise, Concrete Island.
