Audience consideration

Who is my audience?

-Art students (younger)

-Artists

-Potentially members of the public.

I am hoping that my audience will relate to the figure in the piece, and recognise these industrial forms and reflect on their own feelings towards them.

Through having two pieces, one leading into another, I believe this engages the audience in a level of interaction. Following the pylon lines into the next painting may give some satisfaction to the viewer.

Considering that most of my audience will not be able to read the Russian text in my piece, this creates a barrier between the viewer and the painting. I think leaving the viewer wondering what it says gives the piece more mystery, and therefore more interesting to the viewer.
